Community

St Martins seeks to integrate its business activities into the local community and has been able to provide a wide range of support to enhance the commercial content of our recent developments, including the provision of public transport facilities and public art.

We actively and financially support charitable organisations that benefit the communities within which we work. St Martins donates coins thrown into the pool in the centre of Hay's Galleria (part of the London Bridge City development) to two local charities - The Guy Fox History Project and Southwark Young Pilgrims - on a monthly basis, and has an ongoing relationship with many other charities.

St Martins supports XLP, a charity that is at the cutting edge of urban youth work in the UK and currently operates in seven London Boroughs. XLP operates in over 40 schools and hosts 65 after-school clubs in local communities and on its double-decker bus facility as well as organising an Arts Showcase programme.

St Martins encourages links with local community groups and offer appropriate support to help sustain a variety of local initiatives. We are a leading partner of Team London Bridge (formerly the London Bridge Business Improvement District).
